Dr. Alexandra Amster - Veterinarian

Dr. Amster is from Stamford, CT (a NYC suburb) and has lived in LA for 12 years.

She attended University of Rhode Island where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She then went on to veterinary school at Ross University where she graduated in 2011. She did her clinical year at LSU and hasn’t left since.

Dr. Amster is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association. Her special interests include general medicine, dermatology, behavior and dentistry. She received advanced dentistry training from Dr. Curt Ritchie.

Dr. Amster shares her life with her twin daughters, Madelyn and Avery, in Chalmette along with her pit bull LuLu.
